Books have been set forth on this item, and the bickering and discussion about where the "hot" one armed bandits are located in a casino are still intense – over 60 years after one armed bandits were first added to the gaming floor in gambling houses.
The standard rule is that the most favorable slot machines were put just inside the door of the casino; so that potential gamblers going by would be able to see real jackpot winners and be impressed enough to come unto the gaming floor … play. Our opinion is that this is no longer the case.
